D. Adiba is a writer, empathetic listener, and cultural storyteller whose work explores the emotional lives of women navigating identity, belonging, and generational healing.

A daughter of the Caribbean diaspora, she weaves lush island landscapes with raw, introspective narratives that illuminate the complexity of love, loss, and self-reclamation. Her debut novel, The Wrong Way to Wright, is a lyrical exploration of womanhood, courage, and what it means to return to yourself.

When she’s not writing or holding space for others through her C☀️nnect²D practice, D. can often be found near the ocean, dreaming in sunlight and sound.

Her writing has been praised for its pacing, depth, and immersive storytelling. Readers describe her work as both entertaining and soul-stirring, fiction that lingers long after the last page. D. is currently developing the sequel to The Wrong Way to Wright and a children’s series inspired by resilience and healing across cultures.

What if your past followed you to paradise?

Aya Daniels thought escaping to the Caribbean would be the fresh start she desperately needed. But instead of finding freedom, she discovers that her broken heart, crushing debt, and deep loneliness have all come along for the ride.

Stuck in a marriage of convenience with Desi Franklyn—a man with a complicated and mysterious history—Aya finds herself torn between family expectations, her husband’s controlling grasp, and an intense passion for a man who could change everything. With the dream of a new life slipping through her fingers, Aya must face the ultimate question:

Can she ever escape the chains of her past and live the life she truly desires?
