About the Author
Meet D. Adiba.

D. Adiba is a writer, empathetic listener, and cultural storyteller whose work explores the emotional lives of women navigating identity, belonging, and generational healing.
A daughter of the Caribbean diaspora, she weaves lush island landscapes with raw, introspective narratives that illuminate the complexity of love, loss, and self-reclamation. Her debut novel, The Wrong Way to Wright, is a lyrical exploration of womanhood, courage, and what it means to return to yourself.
When she’s not writing or holding space for others through her C☀️nnect²D practice, D. can often be found near the ocean, dreaming in sunlight and sound.
Her writing has been praised for its pacing, depth, and immersive storytelling. Readers describe her work as both entertaining and soul-stirring, fiction that lingers long after the last page. D. is currently developing the sequel to The Wrong Way to Wright and a children’s series inspired by resilience and healing across cultures.
